SOURKRAUT, RIB, POTATOES BAKE / ZAPIEKANKA Z KISZONEJ KAPUSTY, ŻEBEREK, ZIEMNIAKOW Z PRZYPRAWĄ KEBAB GYROS
I received this recipe from my dear cousin who was here from Poland visiting few days ago. After tasting when she made it, I knew I had to share. Simple, delicious, easy to make and it's good for You. Those two things (ribs and sauerkraut) go with potatoes or our favorite, fresh Polish rye bread. Enjoy! and Smacznego!

Ingredients
2lbs.of sauerkraut (or 907 grams)
3.7lbs. 3 .7 lbs. baby back pork ribs or (or 1.3 kg)
2cupsjulienne cut carrots (or about 100 grams)
1packageKebab Gyros seasoning (or other seasoned salt)
1minced onion to taste
1salt to taste
1black ground pepper to taste
1tablespoonoil for the bottom of the pan
6mediumbaking potatoes
Instructions
Wash the ribs and dry them. After they are dry cut into one-rib sections.
In the bottom of the baking pan Place the oil and the ribs seasoned on both sides.
Place a layer of potatoes evenly over the ribs.
Over the potatoes place a layer of half of the sauerkraut.
Then place the layer of half of the carrots.
Add the remaining sauerkraut.
Then add the remaining carrots.
Cover the pan and bake at 350 degrees F for about 1.5 hour. Oven temperatures do vary. It is done when the ribs, sauerkraut and potatoes are tender. Enjoy!
