Easy BBQ Ribs Baked in the Oven / Łatwe Żeberka BBQ Pieczone w Piekarniku.
There are so many recipes for BBQ ribs. I add the Polish Kebab-Gyros spice and it adds that unique flavor to them. They are sweet, tangy and somewhat spicy. Try making these. Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients:
- 2 to 2 1/2 lbs pork baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Dry rub seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons sweet ground paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon kebab-gyros spice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt (or to taste)
- 1 pinch ground black pepper (or to taste)
BBQ sauce homemade style
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey (or brown sugar)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 teaspoon dry rub seasoning (the one you made in previous step)
Rinse the ribs thoroughly under clean water, dry them, remove the membrane from the bottom and any unnecessary fat.
I cut ribs into pieces, but you can bake the whole slab.
Add lemon juice to the ribs and rub it in gently.
Mix all the ingredients for the dry marinade and spread over each rib. You can place the meat in the fridge for at least 2 hours. (can be overnight) to marinate.
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F and place the ribs in a covered roasting pan. Bake for about 2.5 hours, checking from time to time to make sure they are cooking well. Usually I do not add any water or grease because the ribs usually have enough fat in them to release the fat.
When the ribs are tender remove them from the roasting pan, and get rid of the remaining juices.
Now brush / glaze the ribs with the BBQ sauce and bake again uncovered at 400 degrees F for approximately 10-15 minutes longer until the glaze thickens and the ribs looks nice and brown.
