Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh strawberries
  • 500 grams granulated white sugar (may use less sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 package Żelfix (40 grams)

Instructions

  • Wash the jars, scald them with boiling water and dry them thoroughly.
  • Wash the strawberries and remove the stalks.
  • Place the chopped strawberries in a pot and mix thoroughly with the Żelfix.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Then add sugar and lemon juice.
  • Bring to a boil again and cook for another 1 minute. Then remove the pot from heat and stir until the foam disappears.
  • Pour the hot jam into previously prepared jars and close tightly.
  • Place the jars upside down and leave them to cool.
