Noodles with Cabbage and Mushrooms / Lazanki z Kapusta i Pieczarkami

I prepare cabbage with mushrooms noodles according to my mother's recipe. I always do more of it because it can be frozen.

Ingredients

  • 400 g noodles (preferably lazanki noodles)
  • 1 small head of white cabbage
  • 500 g fresh white mushrooms
  • 20 ml oil
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
  • 1 pinch pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Wash and slice mushrooms. In a medium skillet add mushrooms and oil and fry for about 20 minutes over medium heat.
  • Cut the cabbage into cubes and cook in salted water over medium heat. Cook until the cabbage is tender.
  • Cook noodles according to the package instructions until tender.
  • Drain the cabbage. Add to mushrooms and mix thoroughly. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Finally add pasta and mix again. Alternatively, you can add butter to taste, but not necessary.
