Steamed and Fried Cauliflower / Kalafior Gotowany na Parze i Podsmazany

Cauliflower is one of the most popular dinner additions on Polish tables. In the classic version, we serve it with butter and breadcrumbs, by steaming it we preserve all the flavor, more importantly, its minerals and vitamins.

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower (approximately 1 kg)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp butter or oil

Instructions

  • Wash the cauliflower well and place it in the steamer. Cook until half-soft and drain.
  • Heat butter or oil in a frying pan add the cauliflower then salt. By then you will notice that the cauliflower will break into florets. Fry cauliflower florets on all sides until golden brown. Serve warm. Enjoy!
