SourKraut Salad / Surowka z Kiszonej Kapusty

Ingredients
- 500 g sauerkraut (well squeezed)
- 1 apple (medium)
- 1 carrot (medium)
- 5 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cumin (optional)
- 2-3 green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Squeeze sauerkraut from excess water (do not rinse). Cut into small pieces. Place the sauerkraut in a large bowl. Peel the apple and carrot and grate them using the large grater. Add to sauerkraut. Add sugar and cumin (optional). Cut the green onions finely (optional) and add to the kraut. Pour the oil over and mix well. Set aside in the fridge. May be served with most of all meats and fish.
