Ingredients
- 1.5 kg pork butt roast
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon marjoram
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black ground pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit after the meat has been marinated in the refrigerator.
- Mix all the spices together well.
- Marinade the meat in the spices by spreading it all over the meat.
- Use kitchen tread to tie the meat to hold it's shape.
- Cover the meat and marinade it in the refrigerator for about 6 hours prior to baking so that the meat can absorb all the spices.
- Place in a covered baking dish or pan and add a little bit of water to the bottom of the pan so that it does not burn.
- Bake for about 2 hours or until the meat is tender. To brown the meat on the top just uncover it and increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit about 15-20 minutes prior the finish time. Enjoy!
