Ingredients
- 2 kg white cabbage or 1 medium one (shredded)
- 300 grams smoked bacon (diced)
- 300 grams smoked shoulder butt (diced)
- 1 large yellow onion
- 250 grams dried lazanki pasta
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 salt to taste
- 1 ground pepper to taste
- 2 liters water
Instructions
- Peel the outer leaves of the cabbage, cut out the core, chop it and cook it with water salt and pepper until tender, approx. 20 minutes and drain.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package, drain. Or let the pasta stay in hot water for approx. 10 minutes and it will become tender.
- In a pan with a small amount of oil, fry bacon and smoked butt and add the onions cut into small cubes until gently browned.
- When the pasta and cabbage are ready, add everything together to the bacon and smoked butt and mix the ingredients.
- You can season everything with freshly ground pepper and salt. Set aside for a few minutes to let all the ingredients bite through.
