Cherry Jam with Addition of Dżemix / Dżem z Wiśni z Dodatkiem Dżemixu
Cherry jam is one of my favorite jams with a sour note with a hint of vanilla. The recipe is incredibly simple, and the jam itself is delicious and quick to make. I use it for many dishes and desserts.

Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh cherries
- 300 grams granulated white sugar
- 1 package vanilla sugar (9 grams)
- 30 grams Dżemix (1 package)
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
- Sort the cherries, wash them, pit them, place them in a pot, add the Dżemix and mix well.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring.
- Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and bring it to a boil again and cook for about 3-5 minutes over low heat.
- Stir until the foam disappears (if necessary, skim it off with a slotted spoon), pour into sterilized jars, close tightly with lids.
- Place the jars upside down for about 5 minutes. I let my cool completely before I open them about 30 minutes.
- You can use the jam right away or store the jars in a cool dry place to enjoy in the winter.
