Beef Liver with Onion / Watrobka Wolowa z Cebula
Liver is an extremely rich source of various nutrients that are very important for human health. It has the highest concentration of vitamin A compared to all other food products and a lot of vitamin D, B12 and C, phosphorus, copper, and easily digestible iron.

Ingredients
- 1 kg calf or beef liver
- 2 large onions
- 3-4 tbsp all purpose flour
- 4-5 tbsp oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Wash liver and soak in milk for at least an hour before frying, it will be more tender. Then cut the liver in to smaller pieces and coat in flour on both sides. Heat the oil in the pan over medium heat and fry liver on both sides until golden brown.
- In another pan heat up the oil over medium heat. Peel the onion and cut into feathers. Then transfer it to a frying pan and fry it to gold about 10-15 min, stirring occasionally.
- Now add the fried liver to the onions and saute together for few minutes more over low heat. Serve with potatoes and salad of choice.
