Beef and Veal Minced Patties Stuffed With Mozzarella Cheese / Kotlety Mielone z Mozzarellą
This is a great proposition for any dinner. Despite it's simplicity, both kids and adults love them. They are quick to make and relatively inexpensive. The combination of both ground beef and ground veal give it that awesome taste.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground veal
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs or a Kaiser roll
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 medium yellow onions chopped and fried
- 1 teaspoon salt (I used vegetable seasoning salt)
- 1 large egg
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoons oil
- few Mozzarella cheese cubes
Instructions
- In a large bowl place the breadcrumbs and add milk. Let the breadcrumbs absorb the milk for about 5 minutes. When the breadcrumbs have absorbed the milk add onions, garlic, egg and mix all well. I added a teaspoon of seasoned salt and mixed all well in.
- If you are using the mixer, it is best to add the meat at the end because we don't want to over mix the meat as it may become hard. It's always best to mix this by hand.
- Now add the ground beef and the ground veal and mix until all is well incorporated. If you are not using the seasoning salt then add salt and pepper to taste. If the mixture is too lose, you may add some bread crumbs to form a uniform mixture.
- Form medium balls, place a piece of Mozzarella cheese in the middle, coat in bread crumbs and shape the patties. Place in well-heated oil in a pan turning to the other side when golden brown. Enjoy!
