Cream of Cauliflower Soup with Croutons / Krem z Kalafiora z Grzankami
This is a wonderful and super velvety soup. The recipe is very simple and the soup itself is to die for. Cooked only with a few ingredients. It is incredibly creamy and thick soup with just the right selection of herbs. 10 minutes of preparation and 20 minutes of cooking. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1.5 L water or vegetable broth
- 1 kg cauliflower
- 500 g potatoes
- 2 yellow onions
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3-4 tbsp. cream or half and half (optional)
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1-2 vegetable bullion cube (optional)
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- croutons on top (optional)
- cheese on top (optional)
Instructions
- Peel and dice the potatoes, peel and chop the onion and garlic finely, and peel and separate the cauliflower.
- Heat the oil / olive oil in a pot and fry the onion with garlic. When the onion is translucent, add the potatoes and fry everything for about 10 minutes. Add water/ broth and bullion cubes. Then add the cauliflower and cook everything until the vegetables are tender.
- Finally, add salt and pepper to your preferred taste. Finally add cream. Blend everything into a smooth cream consistency.
- Serve the cream soup with croutons and cheese.
